Gina S. Matkin

Gina S. Matkin is an assistant professor in the Department of AgLEC. She graduated in August of 2005 with her Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from University of Nebraska – Lincoln. She obtained a Master of Arts from Iowa State University in Adult Education, Women's Studies and Sociology in 1989 and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Southeast Missouri State University in 1982 with certifications in Biology and General Science for Junior High and High School.

Gina has teaching experience at both the Jr. High/High School and College/University levels. She has co-authored several journal articles and conducted a number of conference presentations. Her research interests include intercultural sensitivity in organizational and workplace settings, and gender and leadership issues.
